Abstract

Gale is the biggest publisher of large scale digitized historical resources globally. The presentation draws on experience of supervising many dozens of British students on projects that used Gale resources and directing almost 100 Australian undergraduate projects, as well as his experience as head of the award-winning ‘French Book Trade in Enlightenment Europe’ digital humanities project.
