Abstract
Game, Claim, Exclaim! is an artwork that has been created in the form of a playful fantasy experience, featuring a miniature scene that shows two friends enjoying the fun and competition of a water game. The scene takes place atop a teetering stack of ceramic cups from a child's tea-set, which sit atop a timber game of catch the ball in the cup; all held in place by a glass jar filled with landscape elements. Created with fragments of a larger world, the gardens that can be seen to be growing within, and from the artwork, are also designed as symbolic spaces, worlds within worlds, referring to more than can be seen. Exhibited 10-25 October 2015 at Woollahra Council Chambers, Sydney.
