Abstract
A research is conducted in collaboration with Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) in Perth and Carnavon, Western Australia, which is designed to investigate social and personal factors associated with not drinking among Aboriginal people living in urban communities. The study results shows that among Aboriginal people attending Perth AMS 42% did not consume alcohol and 16% of them were lifetime non-drinkers and 26% were ex-drinkers.
