Abstract
This chapter focuses on the legal arrangement associated with property ownership in multi-owned developments in the Australian state of New South Wales and the implications of these arrangements for residential satisfaction. In keeping with the theme of the text it deploys the analysis of power relations among residents, developers and strata managers in multi-owned developments and focuses on the question of control as a factor in residential satisfaction in multi-owned developments.
