Abstract
Germaine Greer is undoubtedly one of the West’s most iconic feminists, and her public visibility never seems to wane. Over many decades she has worked actively to shape the public meanings that accrue to feminism. The academy, however, has always had an ambivalent relation to Greer – especially in light of her status as a star feminist author.
