Abstract
A guideline entitled Reducing Risk in Heart Disease: Guidelines for preventing cardiovascular events in people with coronary heart diseases, was developed for all working health professionals to improve health outcomes and help prevent further cardiovascular events in patients with cardiovascular disease. Goldston and Davidson discuss the guidelines and its implications for nursing practice and research.
