Abstract
Hamstring muscle strains account for 12-16% of all injuries sustained in professional soccer. Hamstring muscle weakness and fatigue, together with hamstring flexibility are considered important risk factors for injury. To reduce the injury rate in Soccer, the world governing body (FIFA) designed an injury prevention program for amateur and professional players, which included a variety of exercises to be administered on the field as a warm-up for training and games.
