Abstract
This working paper advocates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as an academic ally, emphasizing the importance of integrating AI-based digital pedagogy to improve teacher’s efficiency in generating teaching materials that boost student engagement in a marketing subject. First, the study provides a theoretical explanation of the role of technology-based instructional tools in student engagement. Second, it emphasizes teacher burnout and digital competencies as barriers to the effective implementation of these technologies. Third, it identifies potential AI tools, and it includes detailed step-by-step directions for creating instructional resources with AI programs like as ChatGPT, Canva, and H5P, as well as seamless integration of these resources within the Learning Management System (LMS). This study utilizes existing literature to investigate the importance of AI applications in content development and utilizes available content repositories to explain the actual process of using AI tools for developing education materials for LMS. The results of this study will contribute valuable insights to the current body of literature on creating instructional materials utilizing AI tools. It will also inspire academics to actively participate in content development, thereby promoting student engagement through digital pedagogy.
