Abstract

![CDATA[This case study describes a series of six Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) sessions with a 55-year-old male recovering from cardiothoracic surgery; he additionally had complex health problems, including chronic pain and depression. GIM sessions explored physical and emotional aspects of relating to his body and experiencing relaxation, provided opportunities for inner integration, supported the development of enjoyable and positive experiences and ultimately empowered him with new skills for the future.]]
