Abstract

Historical assessment of 121 Dunheved Circuit, St Marys. The property at 121 Dunheved Circuit St Marys (Lot 95 in deposited Plan 31909) is currently occupied by RAAF 23 Air Cadet Unit. The building was reputedly the ‘morgue’ associated with the munitions factory constructed during the Second World War. Research suggests that it was a casualty station. The industrial subdivision in which it is located was identified as a heritage item in the Penrith Heritage Study.
