How do we teach them? : using self-help support groups to promote knowledge translation

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapter

    Abstract

Knowledge translation holds a pivotal place in the mental health care sector. For the individual consumer, it can facilitate the adoption of strategies that promote wellbeing. This in turn can alleviate clinician workload and optimise the efficient use of limited resources within a service. It is essential to identify avenues that can facilitate knowledge translation, particularly among consumers of mental health services. One such avenue is the self-help support group.
