Abstract

Integrative Health Care services integrate conventional and complementary medicine in one shared context with the aim to treat the whole person. Over the last decades, the number of clinical centers providing integrative health care has increased world-wide. In this symposium, researchers from different continents (EU, Canada and Australia) will present an overview of the extent of Integrative Health Care services in their respective countries. Barriers and success factors for implementation of Integrative Health Care services will be discussed, as well as trends and future directions to further integration.
