Abstract
![CDATA[The Australian public sector faces a myriad challenges that collectively hinder its effectiveness and its efficiency. To optimise the efficient use of limited resources, a new approach is needed to untangle the bureaucratic mess and streamline the varied procedures, all while meeting employee needs and organisational performance indicators. Given the limited capacity of existing approaches, this paper presents an innovative framework to align organisational culture and self-concept to achieve strategic outcomes – namely, the Business Solution Framework. As a centralised management structure, the framework helps organisations to streamline its practices, facilitate portfolio management, and determine methodologies for repeatable processes. Although yet to be empirically evaluated, this paper presents a strong case for such research.]]
