Abstract

The article describes the care of the Olive python (Liasis olivaceus; including information on housing, feeding, handling, as well as the general health care of these animals. Some of the information presented is derived from Standard Operating Procedures which have been written by the author. It is hoped that the information presented may assist novice Animal Technicians and zookeepers who may be responsible for the care of these species in an animal research facility or a zoological setting.
