Abstract
Solger's thought is a dual and devoid of dialectic synthesis: God creates the finite world denying Himself, and man knows only by denying the nullity that his is. This a double sacrifice. This dynamic is unacceptable for Hegel: Kierkegaard defines Solger as the 'sacrificial victim' for Hegel's thought. Knowledge and salvation can exist for man only in the failure of reason, in its wreck.
