    Abstract

Many of the teachers in TFG consciously planned and implemented pedagogical practices that actively encouraged students to employ imagination and creativity in their learning. They deliberately looked for and organized spaces, in classrooms and outdoors, in which students could engage with intellectually challenging tasks and think and perform in meaningful, imaginative ways. In this chapter we explore the links between imagination, creativity and learning, then describe some of the planning and practices of the teachers and student’s responses to these.
