Abstract
Imperfect Reflection for toy piano, rainstick and small cymbal, is about water" a drop and the resulting even/uneven undulating waves created. With the toy piano in meditative mood, the piece also draws in the soft 'swish' of the rainstick and the clear 'ting' of a struck cymbal to highlight the sound. Imperfect Reflection was composed for, and first performed by, Italian toy pianist Antonietta Loffredo.
