Abstract

The recent Natural Therapies Review Expert Advisory Panel (NTREAP) report, commissioned by the Australian Government, aimed to determine the clinical effectiveness of selected natural therapies. The review involved several capable contributors and examined a substantial body of literature. However, the methodological framing of the analysis in relation to clinical trials, particularly how it handled different types of comparator evidence, raises some concerns that merit clarification for future evaluations.
