Abstract
The complex story of IndigenousX and its significant role in First Nations representation and engagement began in 2012 when Gamilaroi man Luke Pearson began a Twitter account that provided a national platform for diverse Indigenous1 perspectives and voices. IndigenousX deploys a curatorial philosophy of a public online space that presents and represents this diversity from every Thursday. Across this space, national debate is frequently engaged, and this process has seen the account rise in national significance. This chapter will focus on the connectedness of IndigenousX by bringing together the experiences of Luke as CEO of IndigenousX, and Aboriginal academics and sometime hosts, Sandra Phillips and Sandy O'Sullivan, whose work has engaged with, and been enriched by, IndigenousX.
