Abstract
Technological developments are changing the ways in which we communicate, access information, and carry out a variety of commercial activities. This paper considers the ways in which those technological developments are having an impact on insider trading. The use of technology has significant implications for those who may be tempted to engage in insider trading, as well as those who wish to detect insider trading and enforce insider trading laws and presents a variety of challenges in need of resolution and clarity.
