![CDATA[Everyone experiences moods and emotions, yet for a very long time if you were interested in social psychology you could have been mistaken for thinking that all social behaviour happened in an emotion-free vacuum. This mistake would have been understandable, because social psychologists did not examine the impact of emotions on social behaviour and social cognition (i.e. how we think about other people).
