Abstract
![CDATA[This chapter has presented an overview of issues of settlement of migrants, and more specifically refugees. In providing an outline of prospects and barriers, it calls on social workers to utilise their theoretical and practice knowledge base and to contemplate robust advocacy in striving for acceptance of diversity and the well-being of newly arrived groups in rural communities.]]
