Abstract

The 20th century" and in particular the second half of that period" saw the gradual development of a process of 'internationalization' of criminal justice. This is still an ongoing phenomenon, having already witnessed some failed attempts, remarkable successes, long periods of inaction and, more recently, the establishment of a range of different mechanisms designed to enforce still evolving concepts of international criminal justice.
