Abstract
Interviewing patients and clients is a skill that most professionals need to master. Strong interviewing skills are crucial for planning effective care. Professional interviewing is not something that comes naturally to anybody; it is a skill that has to be learned and practised. In this chapter we excplore some of the key aspects of interviewing in healthcare settings.
