Abstract

The strategic mission of Western Sydney University (WSU) is to be 'a university of international standing and outlook, achieving excellence through scholarship, teaching, learning, research and service to local and international communities, beginning with the people of Greater Western Sydney' (WSU, 2016). The University offers an innovative and accessible range of student mobility programs with international partners to support the development of its students as global citizens. The teaching philosophy of blending industrial experience with academic learning illustrates this mission through global internships and industrial experience.
