    Abstract

![CDATA[Occupant feedback can be a method of measuring and improving building designs. Volunteers for an extensive investigation were recruited to participate in a series of tests, using the wind-induced tall building motion simulator at the CLP Power Wind/Wave Tunnel Facility at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to establish occupant comfort and effects to well-being. This paper summarizes the results obtained from two motion simulator experiments to investigate the effects of frequency, acceleration, duration of vibration, and cultural factors on occupant comfort in tall buildings due to low frequency random building motion.]]
