Abstract

As part of The Daily Telegraph's Fair Go For the West campaign, Western Sydney University would love to know how you feel about Western Sydney. We want to hear from people who feel passionate about Greater Western Sydney. Whether you live here or have moved away, or spend time in the west due to study, work or friendships, we want to hear about your experiences, memories and ideas. Which places make you feel proud to be part of the community, and which places need to be improved or given a total revamp? Together with Daily Telegraph readers, we are building an emotional map that shows policy-makers, researchers and local media what really matters to the people of Western Sydney. By participating, you are making a contribution to the future planning and design of the Western Sydney region. Get involved and tell us how you feel about Western Sydney by creating a report on the map page. This project is a collaboration between Western Sydney University researchers at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) and the School of Humanities and Communication Arts. It seeks to develop an interactive website containing emotional maps that highlights the experiences of people in Western Sydney and their aspirations and hopes for the region.
