Abstract

An overview is given of new NMR data indicating that viscous polyethylene-based liquid electrolytes have undergone significant structural relaxation in the intervening period and provides cogent information on the conductivity and largely explains the nonideal behaviors. The study reported addressed the liquid electrolytes, (ethylene oxide)-co-(propylene oxide) (m(EOPO), MW ∼ 8000) doped with LiN(SO 2CF 3) 2 (LiTFSI).
