Lasting impressions

We chose to start this closing chapter with our own personal vignettes, written independently and without discussion. Our hope was that three distinctly positioned reflections would emerge; yes, we anticipated a small amount of overlap, but given our different backgrounds and stages in life we felt certain that their differences would be far more pronounced that their similarities. Reading over them as a collective, however, we were struck by one significant commonality: all three of us had struggled to really name 'that' moment, that precise point of change.
