Abstract

Systems biology is an important application area for ILP. We investigate learning networks of activity in response to stress in yeast cells. Diverse heterogeneous empirical data is used rather than curated knowledge sources. We show that although the representation is limited and predictive accuracy may be low this can still lead to useful outputs.
