Research Statement
“Limbs” is a work of fiction and is driven by questions of language and memory via characters that grapple with radical uncertainty around the stability of stories told and words repeated. It was published by The Saturday Paper, one of the premier venues for the publishing of fiction in the Australian traditional media. The Saturday Paper publishes writers such as Christos Tsilokas, Kevin Rudd, Maxine Beneba-Clarke, David Marr, Richard Flanagan, and Leigh Sales. The circulation of the paper is currently a quarter of a million. It is published by Schwartz Media, with the express purpose of “challenge orthodoxy, question authority, and provoke debate.”Cite this
