Liquid Chromatography | Reversed Phase

  • Western Sydney University

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The focus of this updated chapter is to describe important aspects on reversed phase chromatography (RPLC), as it remains to be the most commonly used liquid chromatography separation technique. The vast choice of columns available to separation scientists has always been daunting, with the continuous development of media and supports to deliver faster and more efficient separations. To describe in detail the range of different stationary phases used in RPLC would not be possible in a chapter. Instead a brief introduction to the technique will be given and reasons for the development of certain stationary phases.
