Abstract

Genuine consumer and community involvement offers multiple benefits to people with diabetes, health-care professionals, health services, researchers, and diabetes community organisations.1,2 Co-designed solutions, led by the community, facilitate interventions that better meet the needs of the community, resulting in increased acceptability and uptake.
