Abstract

Book review: Living in the Anthropocene: Earth in the Age of Humans by Stine and Kress (2017) is an edited collection of thirty-two well-written essays by leading scientific, social, anthropological and artistic professionals. This book primarily presents a detailed outline of the human age and its ramifications on the planet. The book argues, from different points of view, the human negligence of the earth: how extinctions of fauna and damage to the same resources that keep us alive are caused by our own selfish desire for a technologically advanced future.
