Abstract

![CDATA[The main purpose of this study is to prioritize (i) indicators/performance measures; and (ii) enabling factors for implementing the concepts and practices of Logistics 4.0. Factors classified into four indicators/performance measures and five dimensions of enabling factors were identified using a comprehensive literature review. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was then used to prioritise those factors through relative weight of importance of each enabling factor on four different performance dimensions. The results show that customer responsiveness is the most important indicator in implementing Logistic 4.0 while flexibility is the least important. For enabling factors, it is important to note that system integration and technological infrastructure are the top two enabling factors in increasing process stability, connectivity, and flexibility measures for except customer responsiveness. In addition, human capital, and organizational climate & culture are less important to increase the connectivity and flexibility. However, if a company considers customer responsiveness as the most important performance measures in implementing Logistics 4.0, system integration is the most important enabler while IoT infrastructure is the least important enabler. This is one of the first studies to examine the prioritisation and ranking of Logistics 4.0 constructs on organisation performance within the context of the emerging industrial economies where Logistics 4.0 concepts and practices are at the early stage of industrial development.]]
