Abstract
![CDATA[Creative West is an ongoing research project that maps creative practice and cultural production in Western Sydney. Having recently migrated to Heurist, the database has grown from its original focus on the design sector to incorporate all forms of creative expression in the west, historical and temporal sites, and the connections between them. Heurist will make it possible to for users to explore what creativity looks like in Western Sydney, while enabling conversations about the impact, capacity, and potential of our localised creatives in the context of the unprecedented urban growth and development occurring in our region.]]
