Abstract
The NSW Medical and Forensic Clinical Placement and Support Program (MFCPSP) was developed to support the sexual assault medical and forensic workforce with training and professional development. The evaluation of the program consisted of both internal quality assurance activities and a formal mixed-method evaluation. Data was collected through online surveys, semi-structured interviews, focus groups and forms used in internal quality assurance. Perspectives were obtained from MFCPSP learners, MFCPSP supervisors, and staff from regional LHDs who nominated participants for placements. From February 2024 to end April 2025, 41 placements took place. Evaluation data is available for 39 placements, representing 37 individual learners as two people had two placements.
