Abstract

Introduction: Anecdotally, intergenerational mentoring has shown promise in reducing social isolation in both teenage boys who are at risk of social dysfunction, as well as retired males. Many mentoring programs conducted at men's sheds use occupation as a means to engage; yet the role of meaningful occupation remains unexplored.
