title = "Methodologies of research at grass roots level in indigenious community",
abstract = "This paper will present the methodologies of research that I will and am employing during my activities of research for my study at UWS. My approach is based on having a certain pre-knowledge of Aboriginal community by virtue of the fact that I am an Aboriginal person born in an Aboriginal community. It is my observation at tertiary research level, that certain surface levels are usually achieved by non-Aboriginal researchers in their endeavours, which quite often conflict with the reality of the research topic. This state of inaccuracy, I believe, is direct result of the researchers' unfortunate inability to either get the trust or respect of their Aboriginal informants. This could also apply to Aboriginal researchers who are just as unfamiliar with the community or individuals from which the research information needs to be extracted. This paper hopes to discuss this research area from an Aboriginal viewpoint based on prior research experience.",
