Abstract

Anorexia as a 'pubertal disease' stands in a tight context of distinct individual and family changes and it could be seen as an ineffective method of dealing with development crisis and special family problems. We want to present the results of a twenty two years old male anorectic and his family, which we found in our diagnosing programme for families. The different tests started the therapeutic process and helped to understand the symptomatology, psychosexual development and gender identity of the patient in the background of his family history. They lead to systemic family therapy.
