Microwave material characterization of geopolymer concrete

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperConference Paperpeer-review

Abstract

![CDATA[Geopolymers and black sands are increasingly used as alternative construction materials to cement. Microwave characterization methods have shown to give insights to reaction mechanisms and electrical properties of such materials. This paper analyses the electrical properties of geopolymer concrete within the frequency range of 8 GHz to 12 GHz and compares the results with geopolymer mixed with black sand. S-parameter and dielectric permittivity of concrete have been measured using a dielectric probe and network analyser.]]
