Abstract

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) group started with asking, what are the big questions that we need to be examining in the fi eld? Addressing these led to a discussion about the current state of the CSR literature and existing gaps. In our overview, which follows, we are more interested in identifying rather than understanding the eff ects of the gaps. We believe that identifi cation of the gaps in the CSR literature is the more pressing concern for academic researchers and is needed to fully develop the field.
