Abstract
Novel single-integral functions of multivariate equal-correlated (equ.c.) Rician fading employing maximal ratio combining (MRC) are derived in this paper. It has been well known that theoretical progress under correlated fading cannot be given in closed-form, but single-integral. To the author's best knowledge, the single-integral proposed results are novel for MRC deployment under multivariate equ.c. Rician fading. Using underlying independent and identically distributed complex nonzero-mean Gaussian random variables, equ.c. Rician envelopes are constructed, leading to the proposed results. Outage probability and signal-to-noise-ratio gains are computed under selection-combining and MRC deployment for validation purposes. Detailed discussion are given. Monte Carlo simulation is shown to match theoretical predictions.
