Abstract
The aim of this paper is to uncover the countless myths that feed the gender prejudices which deny people from different genders to access several sports practices, both in the grassroots as well as in the high performance competition levels. The paper deconstructs notions that some sport practices are an exclusive masculine or feminine terrain; informed by human rights conventions, the article then advance with an original idea that sports practices need to be reinvented to allow better integration to people from different genders within the sports fields and courts .
