Naked, puny, and wild : on the idea of form

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

[...] one notices that Gasché has a peculiar fondness for speaking of very small things, for what is nearly invisible, barely present, and minimally detectable. [...] I want to briefly characterize how it is that Gasché understands limits; second, I want to speak a bit of the operations and significance of such limits, that is, I want to speak of the dynamic that they set in motion; finally, I want to look at one special instance in which Gasché develops this thinking of limits, namely, in his rethinking of Kant's aesthetics.
