Abstract

We were drawn to the National Tax Clinic Program for many reasons. For some, it was to build a platform for students to experience working in tax practice. For others, it was an opportunity to reach out and help the community and assist its most vulnerable and needy members, those members who had never before had a voice to represent or advocate for themselves as taxpayers. . This report aims to demonstrate the impact that the Program has had on taxpayers and students alike. Stories from clinics, taxpayers, and students reflect how much clinics are assisting those in need safely and without judgement.
