Abstract
Neo-Sufism is a conceptual categorization that broadly defines the adaptation of classic Sufism by moderns. This experience of Sufism is popularized and further defined outside Muslim majority countries and formulated into a distinct identity that merges with parallel areas of interest in European esotericism, thus giving Sufism its modern form.
