Abstract

Lindblom's "muddling-through" (1959) or "incrementalizing" (1979) approach in policy development is ideal as a strategic and operational paradigm amid the numerous paradoxes that are present in the network organizational form of coordination. At the business level, the paper explains why staying on the edge of complexity and dynamism is significant in order for businesses to create the most vibrant, adaptive and complex behaviours. It concludes with some observations for practice.
