Offences against the State

Research output: Chapter in Book / Conference PaperChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Historically, a wide range of criminal offences have been created to, above all, protect the established economic, political and legal order from what are regarded as serious threats to its existence. The contemporary use of such
offences needs to be considered in the post-2001 context of the 'war on terrorism' and rising international and domestic tensions.
