Abstract
The problem of weighted H∞ model reduction for continuous time-delay switched system is considered. The delay-dependent approaches are used to construct a reduced- order stable system such that the error system with respect to a given delay switched system is exponentially stable and has a prescribed weighted H∞ performance. The average dwell time approach and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique are utilized to establish sufficient conditions that guarantee the exponential stability and the weighted H∞ performance for the error system. A numerical algorithm is proposed to implement the model reduction. The usefulness of the proposed methodology is demonstrated by an illustrative example.
